My friends, if you detect someone in a transgression, you should restore the person in a spirit of gentleness. You do this because you have received the Spirit. But be careful not to be tempted yourself.
Bear one another’s burdens. This fulfills the law of Christ.
And test your own work, for all must carry their own loads.
Also, those who are taught the word must share with their teacher.
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. You reap what you sow. If you sow to your own desires, you will reap corruption. But if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Don’t grow weary in doing what is right, for harvest time will come if we do not give up. So then, let us work for the good of all and especially for those of the family of faith.
Remember, it is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that try to compel you to follow the law. The truth is, they know persecution comes from the way of the Cross, and they don’t want to be persecuted.
Legalists talk about the law but do not obey the law themselves. They just want to boast by getting you to follow the religious laws.
May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world.
Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything. A new creation is everything!
As for those who will follow this — peace and mercy be upon them.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters.
